Most of a trader's relationship with a brokerage now happens on a phone: checking a balance between meetings, topping up a wallet before a news release, approving a withdrawal from the sofa. The RedCherry mobile app brings the client area to iOS and Android in your brand, and the latest release closes the gap between the app and the web portal.

Everything the client area does, in a pocket

The app is not a cut-down version of the portal. Clients see the same wallets, trading accounts, transactions and documents, and every action syncs with the back office your team runs. Deposits go through the same payment gateways, withdrawals follow the same approval rules, and a new MT5 account opened from the app appears in the CRM immediately.

  • Wallet balances per currency and transfers to trading accounts
  • Deposits with the fee and credited amount shown before paying
  • Withdrawal requests with status tracking
  • Live and demo trading accounts with balance, equity and history
  • Documents, verification levels and the next KYC step
  • Bonuses available to claim and lot-target progress

Alerts clients actually want

Custom alerts tell a client when a deposit is credited, a withdrawal is approved, a KYC decision is made or a bonus is released. Each notification links to the screen it refers to, so a client who sees 'withdrawal approved' opens the transaction, not the home screen. Brokerages choose which events send notifications, so the app never becomes noise.

Security built for finance, not just convenience

A finance app on a phone is only as safe as its lock. The app supports multi-factor authentication and biometric sign-in with Face ID and Touch ID, plus PIN, pattern and password fallbacks. Sessions expire on their own, and sensitive actions such as a withdrawal can require a second confirmation. The same roles and audit log that protect the back office record every action taken from the app.

Your brand, your onboarding

The app carries your logo, colors and name on the stores. Brokerages choose which verification fields to require at sign-up and can add questionnaires, for example an appropriateness test, that feed the client's risk score in the CRM. Clients who start registering on the web can finish on the phone, because both read and write the same client record.

Feedback that reaches the product team

Custom questionnaires in the app collect feedback after onboarding, after a first deposit or on demand, and the answers are stored on the client profile where sales and support can see them. Several of the improvements in this release came from exactly that channel.

What a brokerage configures

The app is set up from the back office, not by a developer. A brokerage chooses which events send push notifications, which verification fields and documents the sign-up asks for, which questionnaires run and when, which languages are offered and which payment methods appear per country. Bonus programs and the loyalty levels shown in the app follow the rules already set in the bonus module, and the support channel in the app opens tickets on the same client record the service desk works from.

  • Push notifications: pick the events, for example deposit credited, withdrawal approved, KYC decision, bonus released, margin warning
  • Sign-up: verification fields, documents per country, appropriateness questionnaire
  • Content: dashboard banner, announcements and knowledge base articles
  • Security: MFA requirement, biometric sign-in, session timeout and second confirmation for withdrawals

Rolling the app out to clients

Brokerages that get the most from the app treat the launch as a campaign: a segmented email to funded clients with the store links, a banner in the web portal, and a short sequence for new sign-ups that points to the app after verification. Adoption shows up in the reports as the share of deposits and withdrawal requests that come from the app, and support tickets about status usually fall once clients can check progress on their phone.

A week with the app, from the trader's side

On Monday morning a trader opens the app to check the overnight balance and sees the margin warning they asked to be told about. They top up their USD wallet with a card, see the fee and the credited amount before confirming, and transfer the funds to their MT5 account in two taps; the balance reaches the trading server straight away. On Wednesday their proof of address is about to expire, and a notification takes them to the upload screen, where a photo of a new document is enough. On Friday they request a withdrawal of the week's profit and follow its status until finance approves it, without opening a ticket.

Each of those moments used to be an email, a phone call or a support ticket. In the app they are a notification and a screen, and every one of them is recorded on the same client record the back office works from, so the team sees what the client saw.

Questions brokerages ask about the app

Does the app replace the web portal? No. It is the same client area on a phone, so clients move between the two and see the same wallets, accounts and history.

Do clients need a separate account? No. The app works with the account the client already has in your client area, so there is nothing new to register or verify.

Can we choose what appears in the app? Yes. Notifications, sign-up fields, questionnaires, languages and payment methods per country are configured in the back office, so the app shows what your brokerage offers and nothing else.

Which languages does it support? The languages your client area is translated into. You choose which ones clients can pick.

How is it protected? With multi-factor authentication, biometric sign-in, session timeouts and an optional second confirmation for withdrawals, on top of the roles and audit log that protect the back office.

A launch checklist

  • Brand assets ready: app name, icon, colors and screenshots for the store listings
  • Notification events chosen and their wording reviewed by compliance
  • Sign-up fields, documents per country and the appropriateness questionnaire confirmed
  • Security settings agreed: MFA, biometric sign-in, session timeout and withdrawal confirmation
  • A launch campaign scheduled for funded clients, with store links and a banner in the web portal
  • Support briefed on the new screens, with knowledge base articles for the questions clients will ask first

How the app changes support

Most tickets a brokerage receives are status questions: has my deposit arrived, is my document approved, when will my withdrawal be paid. When the answer is a notification that arrives on its own, the question is never asked. The tickets that remain are the ones that need a person, and they arrive from the app on the client's record, so the agent sees the deposit, the document or the withdrawal in question without asking for an account number.

Knowledge base articles published from the back office appear in the app too, which is the right place for the questions every new client asks: how to transfer from a wallet to a trading account, which documents are accepted in their country, how long a withdrawal takes with each method. A good set of articles, written once, keeps answering for as long as the brokerage runs.

Getting the app for your brokerage

The mobile app is part of the client area. If you run RedCherry already, ask your account manager to enable it; if you are evaluating the platform, book a demo and we will show the app alongside the portal and the back office.
